The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats to Sweden.

About the Unit

Must Internal Service is looking for a technician/caretaker. The MIS Operations mission is a central function within the Must organization. We create good conditions for the core operations being conducted. The role of technician/caretaker is important; you contribute with initiative, attention to detail, and are responsive to current and long-term needs. We implement the decisions that have been made.

Main Responsibilities

As a technician/caretaker, you are a key person for the operations within our properties. Your tasks vary and include everything from property supervision, maintenance tasks, assembly and relocation of furniture, as well as transport and goods handling. The work can be physically demanding as heavy lifting occurs. Since travel during office hours is part of the job, a B driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school education
• Some years of experience in similar tasks
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the Office suite and solid basic and overarching IT skills
• B driver's license

Meritorious

• Experience in a similar position within the public sector
• Experience in caretaking or operational technology
• Knowledge and/or experience from working at different preparedness levels

Personal Qualities

You are engaged, solution-oriented, and actively contribute to improvement and development for the benefit of the organization. You are handy, accustomed to working with tools, and enjoy performing practical tasks. We see that you have good social skills, a high sense of service, and are responsive to the needs of the organization. You are expected to work independently and drive your tasks forward with self-leadership and responsibility, combined with teamwork where you have a good ability to collaborate with other functions.

It is an advantage if you thrive in a work environment where tasks can vary, and where the organization requires reprioritization and quick action. The ability to adapt to changes in workflow is therefore very valuable.
